Parent Empowerment Program
“Stop trying
to perfect your child, but keep trying to perfect your relationship with him.”
Dr. Henker
“It is better
to bind your children to you by a feeling of respect and by gentleness, than by
fear.”
Terence
“Your
children will become what you are; so be what you want them to be.”
David
Bly
Our Parent Empowerment Program provides education and support
for parents and families in group settings. The group setting permits
interaction and team problem-solving allowing parents to build on and learn from
the strengths of all.
Form your own group (example: Mothers, school, church) and
hold a program on the parenting topic of your choice at a convenient community
location or at the L.K.
Painter Community Center.
Or, join us at the
L.K. Painter Community center
for one of our regularly scheduled programs. Courses vary in length from 3 to 7
weeks with each session presented in a 2-hour video/discussion interactive
format.
