The Healthy Community Alliance provides community outreach to educate area residents about various programs designed to improve quality of life for rural residents. Child Health Plus and Family Health Plus are two of those programs. Child Health Plus is a New York State health insurance plan for children. This plan provides coverage for qualified uninsured children under 19 years of age. New York State helps to pay the cost.

Family Health Plus is a New York State health insurance program for adults 19-64 with limited income who do not have health insurance.
